Miss Mount Pleasant 2026 Results

On February 7th, 2026, we brought back the Miss Mount Pleasant competition after 3 years and crowned a new Miss Mount Pleasant and Miss Mount Pleasant's Teen, plus a brand new title, Miss Henry County! Hundreds of dollars were awarded to various women from across the state.

Miss Mount Pleasant 2026 is Micah Barnes!

Micah Barnes, 28, was crowned Miss Mount Pleasant 2026 on February 7th, 2026 at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
She received a $200 scholarship prize, as well as an official MAO crown and sash, a beautiful bouquet of flowers from From the Heart Flowers and Gifts, custom Thank You cards and 20% off their first purchase from Triple 3 Designs, and much more.
Micah will now go on to represent Mount Pleasant at the Miss Iowa Scholarship Program in June 2026.
Micah is from Alta, Iowa and is currently a high school and college educator. She hopes to one day be a physical therapist. Micah graduated from Buena Vista University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with post baccalaureate education. She also graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 2021 with a Masters of Science in Agricultural Education & Beef Advocacy. During the pageant, Micah performed a HERstory presentation titled "Fear is a Liar" as her talent, and her Community Service Initiative is titled "Be the Light: Small Acts. Lasting Impact"
Micah is the daughter of Kendall and Marty Barnes. She is an Iowa High School Rodeo Association Hall of Fame inductee, a Miss Congeniality winner at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant, and loves thrifting, reading, and hiking.
Miss Henry County 2026 is Clarisa Ostrowski!

Clarisa Ostrowski, 20, was crowned Miss Henry County 2026 on February 7th, 2026 at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
She received a $200 scholarship prize, as well as an official MAO crown and sash, a beautiful bouquet of flowers from From the Heart Flowers and Gifts, custom Thank You cards and 20% off their first purchase from Triple 3 Designs, and much more.
Clarisa will now go on to represent Henry County at the Miss Iowa Scholarship Program in June 2026.
Clarisa is from East Moline, Illinois and is currently a Scott Community College Communication Transfer Major, and will graduate in May of 2026. During the pageant, Clarisa performed a Ballet Folklorico to El Son De La Negra, and her Community Service Initiative is titled "Beyond the Surface - Empowering Confidence Through Chronic Skin Awareness".
Clarisa is the daughter of William and Belinda Ostrowski. She has multiple famous pins on Pinterest, loves running, making sweet treats, and eating sweet treats.
Miss Mount Pleasant's Teen 2026 is Anna Lucy Bratney!

Anna Lucy Bratney, 15, was crowned Miss Mount Pleasant's Teen 2026 on February 7th, 2026 at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
She received a $200 scholarship prize, as well as an official MAO crown and sash, a beautiful bouquet of flowers from From the Heart Flowers and Gifts, custom Thank You cards and 20% off her first purchase from Triple 3 Designs, and much more.
Anna Lucy will now go on to represent Mount Pleasant at the Miss Iowa's Teen Scholarship Program in June 2026.
Anna Lucy is from Waukee, Iowa and is currently a student at Dowling Catholic High School. She hopes to one day be a cosmetologist or a nurse. During the pageant, Anna Lucy performed a Lyrical Dance to “Small Things” by Bella Taylor Smith as her talent, and her Community Service Initiative is titled "Understanding Opens Doors".
Anna Lucy is the daughter of Stephanie and Peter Bratney. She is the oldest of 3 sisters, has a crazy German Shepard named Taysie, and is related to George Washington. She also loves show choir, golfing, and piano.

Miss Mount Pleasant is an official preliminary to the Miss Iowa program. Miss Mount Pleasant is an open competition. To compete, delegates must live, work, or attend school in Iowa.
