Micah Barnes, 28, was crowned Miss Mount Pleasant 2026 on February 7th, 2026 at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

Micah will now go on to represent Mount Pleasant at the Miss Iowa Scholarship Program in June 2026.

School: Buena Vista University (2020) - Bachelor of Science in Biology, with post baccalaureate education. California Polytechnic State University (2021) - Masters of Science in Agricultural Education & Beef Advocacy

Career Ambition: Currently a high school and college educator. Hopes to one day be a physical therapist.
